Defend the Line is a free game you play right in your web browser. No download and no sign-up. You lead David's mighty men into battle, and your job is simple: hold the line.
How the Game Works
- March across the battle map, one level at a time.
- Pick your mighty men: Josheb-basshebeth, Eleazar, Shammah, Benaiah, Abishai, Asahel and more.
- Stand firm while the enemy charges. If the line falls, fight again.
- Get a save code so you can pick up where you left off.
The True Story Behind the Game
David's mighty men were real. Many of them came to David when they were distressed, in debt, and hunted alongside him. God made them into an army that would not run.
Shammah is a good example. The Philistines came against a field of lentils, and everyone else ran away. Shammah did not.
But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.
